Wanted Michigan Man Believed to Have Fled TN

Local law enforcement believes the wanted 26-year-old Michigan man, who crashed a Ford F150 truck into Citizens Bank on Scottsville Rd. is no longer in the state of Tennessee.

Arian Ras-Devries was last seen in Macon County fleeing from the scene on Tuesday, July 29, wearing black pants and no shirt. He is wanted on several felony criminal warrants out of Michigan and is considered dangerous.

He left the bank with a backpack, and may have been armed.

Inside the truck, officers found a handgun with the serial number filed off along with other guns.

Macon County residents are asked to be on high alert and report anything to suspicious to law enforcement.

A manhunt ensued, however, Ras-Devries was not located.

Following an investigation into his whereabouts, the Lafayette Police Department has released the following statement:

The investigation revealed that the suspect’s movements were tracked, and local individuals who aided his escape have been identified. The suspect has since absconded to another state. The Lafayette Police Department is actively coordinating with state and federal agencies to locate and apprehend the individual. We express our appreciation to all parties involved in the investigation.
