Sex Offender Caught with Child Pornography

A 59-year old Westmoreland man was arrested last week during an ongoing sex offender compliance check being conducted by local law enforcement. 

According to a report filed by Macon County Detective Robert Jacoby, Deputy Tim Freeman arrived at the Maple Lane residence of sex offender Paul Price on April 19, 2024.

The deputy made contact with Mr. Price and was given consent to search his residence and electronics. 

On Price’s cell phone, in the trash folder, were 10 videos and five photos of juveniles engaging in sexual activity.

His cell phone was seized and taken into custody.

Price was charged with sexual exploitation of children/possession of child pornography and violation of sex offender registry – being in possession of child pornography. His bond was set at $800,000, and he is scheduled to appear in general sessions court on April 24, 2024.
