You were Born for Eleonily, But…

Ecclesiastes bill says that “God has… planted eternity in the human heart.” Abraham Lincoln once wrote: “ Surely God would not have created such a being as man to exist only for a day! No, no, man was made for immorality.” Putting it bluntly, life here is a tryout for life in eternity. All of us have an unborn instinct that longs for immorality. That is because our Creator has designed us to live for eternity.
One day your heart and my heart will beat for the last time and this will mark the end of our time on planet earth, but it will not be the end of us. The body is a temporary house for the spirit.

There are numerous choices on earth, but eternity offers only two: heaven or hell. Our relationship with God here will determine where will be in eternity.
The fact that man was born for eternity, doesn’t mean that the short time he spends here will be without struggles. In fact, the opposite is true. Job, like us, was born for eternity, yet right in the middle of his years, this was written: “ Man that id born of a women is of a few days, and full of trouble” (Job 14:1). It is when man chooses not to glorify God that his struggles occur. The masses of earth’s population aren’t living as though they were made to glorify God. This is especially true of the American peoples. To say that today’s America is a mess would be to put it midly. And it is also because God has been ignored and materialism has been enthroned as God. Man was born for something better than accumulating material things, living in pleasure, while sweeping all spiritual things under the rug. Democrats and Republicans, including a trillion dollars, won’t save this nation. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).
Life is short. Eternity is forever.
People who depend on government instead of God aren’t preparing for eternity.
