According to Red Boiling Springs Police Chief Terry Tuck, Officer Jesse Gentry responded to the report of a residential armed robbery at an apartment complex located at130 Witcher Hollow Rd.
“It’s my understanding that the subjects exited their vehicle, mentioned having a weapon and entered the home,” Tuck commented.

Upon the officer’s arrival, several items totaling over $1,000 in value had been taken from Thompson’s residence including a small television, assorted clothing, fishing poles and hunting equipment.
All four subjects, 34-year-old Jamey Holland, 19-year-old Katie Slayton, 22-year-old David Masters and 24-year-old Amanda Caruso, were arrested at a bar establishment in Clay County.
Thompson’s property was later recovered on the side of Hance Hollow Rd., and police located a .45 caliber pistol belonging to Jamey Holland.
The Macon and Clay County Sheriffs Departments assisted in the case and Tuck stated that the investigation is ongoing.
