On Friday afternoon, May 1st, around 5:00 p.m., the Lafayette Police Department responded to the scene of a possible stabbing at the Cherry Street Apartments, here in Lafayette.
According to Officer Henry Behr, of the Lafayette Police Department, upon arrival they entered apartment 4 and found David Graves, of Macon County, with a stab wound to his left upper arm, after a domestic argument had turned violent. After he was stabilized at the scene by a first responder, the Emergency Medical Services transported him to Macon County General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Arrested at the scene was 30-year-old Julie Anne Arendall, also of Macon County, who was charged with two felonies including Aggravated Domestic Assault and Reckless Endangerment. She is being held without bond in the Macon County Jail, with a General Sessions Court date set for May 20th. Officer Henry Behr, of the Lafayette Police Department, is investigating the incident.
