Heartbeat Haven’s facility is currently located on Hwy. 10 in Lafayette where Amazing Grace Community Church holds services, and will soon be available for the pregnancy resource center. Proposed architectural plans include counseling rooms, a “wardrobe” (store of maternity & baby items), a small library and a classroom with kitchen. Volunteers from local churches are invited as guest speakers/teachers for classes providing life skills for new mothers. Volunteer counselors are needed to build relationships with and mentor clients. Those with the gift of service will enjoy serving in the Wardrobe, organizing maternity and baby items or assisting clients in choosing items after class twice a month. The facility will also offer free ultrasounds as soon as the doors of the new facility are open.

“So mark your calendars for the Vision for Life Concert & Carnival at Key Park on October 9th,” said Bro. Harold Carman, “and come out, buy a ticket and help support this wonderful cause. Together, we work to help save the lives of the pre-born who face the tragic threat of abortion.”
