“After discovering that Crews and Smith didn’t have permission to be on the property and receiving permission to search the property from the landowner, we searched the residence and found two shake-and-bake meth labs and a suitcase full of marijuana,” Sheriff Gammons stated.
Tony Christopher Smith, was charged with theft of property, violation of probation (2 cts.), criminal trespassing, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, intent to manufacture methamphetamine, promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and manufacturing narcotics. Smith’s bond was set at $52,000.
Jennifer Nell Crews, was charged with criminal trespassing, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, manufacturing of narcotics and intent to manufacture methamphetamine on Feb. 16. Crews’ bond was set at $51,000.
Officers were also able to locate the missing juvenile at the residence. According to Sheriff Gammons, they do not believe the juvenile was involved in the drug operation at this time.
