LPD to Host 1st Annual Family Fun Day Sept. 24th

The Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, would like to invite everyone to grab a lawn chair and head on over to the first annual Family Fun Day to be held at Key Park this Saturday, September 24th from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m.

With an unlimited variety of activities, entertainment and food for the family, this event will offer young and old alike the opportunity to meet our law enforcement officers, public safety members and public officials.

There will be games for the kids, clowns, magicians, jumping house, cotton candy, popcorn, concession stands, and K-9 officer demonstrations, as well as singing.

“I would love for the community to take a little time and come to Key Park this Saturday,” said Chief Ray Amalfitano, “and spend the afternoon with us. Bring the kids and grandkids and enjoy the first annual Family Fun Day, while we reassure the public that we are here for you. We hope to see you there!”
