Man Arrested for Firing Rifle Across Hauskins Hollow Rd.

Danny Eugene Hammock, 64, of 8560 Hauskins Hollow Rd. in Westmoreland, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and carrying a weapon to be armed on Thursday, December 15th, after firing a 22 rifle across Hauskins Hollow Road.

According to a report from the Macon County Sheriffs Department, Detective Troy Griggs observed Hammock firing the gun across the road as Griggs was driving his vehicle.

Hammock, a convicted felon, was charged with armed robbery several years ago. His bond was set at $1,500, and Hammock is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on January 25, 2012.
