Criminal charges may be forthcoming in a Clay County traffic accident on Friday afternoon, March 2nd, that killed Earl Wilkerson, age 91, on Drag Strip Road.
Wilkerson was driving a southbound Ford Taurus when a Chevy pickup driven by 22-year-old James Bristow, of Red Boiling Springs, veered into his lane of travel hitting him head on. They have since been released. All three men in the truck were tested for alcohol and drugs, but the results haven’t been confirmed yet.
