The Drug Task Force has arrested a father and son, following a year-long investigation that resulted in a sealed indictment for drug charges.
Estes Ray White and his son, Aaron Louis White, both of 102 Wooten Avenue in Lafayette, have been arrested and charged after a Drug Task Force operative purchased marijuana for both of them.
According to Mike Thompson, when they searched the home they found more marijuana. They also discovered a grow operation in the basement. “A loaded gun was also located inside the residence,” he said.
Aaron Louis White, age 30, was charged with manufacture of narcotics and a General Sessions Court date is set for Feb. 14.
“There will be new charges for the gun and grow operation we found during the search,” added Thompson.
