Recently at the Wilson County Republican Party Reagan Day dinner, Republican State Senate candidate Clark Boyd picked up the endorsement of State Rep Susan Lynn, and US Congressman Diane Black.
"I endorse Clark Boyd for state Senate in the 17th district because Clark is a true conservative who is very intelligent, approachable, and responsive to people's needs; he has a pleasant and friendly nature arising from his strong Christian faith." stated state Representative Susan Lynn. Lynn continued, "I have seen Clark in action and Clark makes me very proud. Clark will provide the representation that not only Macon County deserves but the entire 17th District. In fact, Macon County voters should know that the entire 17th district is looking to Macon County, and counting on the voters of Macon County to help us provide strong support Clark Bode for state Senate. I know Clark Boyd – and I know that Macon County will be proud to call Clark Boyd their state Senator.”
Congressman Black also shared her opinion about Boyd’s ability to serve the 17th District.
"Families in Macon County deserve an effective, trusted voice in the state senate," said Congressman Diane Black. "As a business owner, National Guard veteran, NRA member, and former chairman of his local Republican Party, I know that we can count on Clark to deliver the conservative leadership this district needs and I am proud to give him my full support."
Boyd is running for the State Senate in the 17th District which encompasses Wilson, Macon, Clay, Cannon, Dekalb, and Smith counties.
