Chronicle Valentine's Day Issue!

alt

As January nears its end, the Macon County Chronicle is preparing for a special Valentines’s Day issue and we need your help!

Send us a photo of your true love, and a message to accompany it, and we will publish it in our February 9 edition.

We are also accepting photos and text of your littlest valentines (kids) at no cost in this special section. And because animals deserve our love too, pet photos are also welcome and free of charge!

The Macon County Chronicle also welcomes you to nominate a special couple, whose story will be featured in our February 9 issue.

All submissions for this edition are due by Friday, February 2, 2016 at noon.

Submissions can be dropped off at our office located at 109 Public Square in Lafayette, or e-mailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

In preparation for Valentine’s Day, we are also offering a few contests to get you in the lovey-dovey spirit.

Kids are invited to enter Cupid’s Coloring Contest, which is printed on Page A-11 of this issue, and all of our readers are encouraged to enter our ‘How Many Hearts?’ contest.

This contest will begin on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

To enter, guess the number of hearts located in the Macon County Chronicle’s front window. An entry form will be printed in the Chronicle for folks to fill out and submit to our office.

Check the February 2 issue of the Chronicle for rules and prize information.
