A Macon County woman was treated and then released from Skyline Medical Center, in Nashville, following a one vehicle roll over wreck in Red Boiling Springs on Saturday afternoon, March 26.
Trooper Justin Mote, of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, investigated the wreck that happened around 12:30 p.m. near the Witcher Hollow Road intersection on Highway 52 East.
According to Trooper Mote, 51-year-old Lisa Jones, of Macon County, was driving a westbound 2004 Dodge Durango on Highway 52 when she got distracted. She crossed over into the east bound shoulder and then over corrected back to the westbound lane and the vehicle rolled. The Durango came to final rest in the west bound lane on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
There was a juvenile passenger in the vehicle. Jones was transported to the Nashville hospital for treatment.
Responders included the THP, Macon County Sheriffs Office, RBS Police, RBS Rescue Squad, Macon County EMS, and the Macon County Chronicle.
