Jackie Lynn Dozier, who was found guilty on two counts of sexual battery, one count of attempted sexual battery and three counts of incest in criminal court last August, was sentenced on Monday, Oct. 13.
Dozier received a sentence of two years probation for each count of sexual battery and 11 months and 29 days of probation for the attempted sexual battery charge.
For the incest charges, Dozier was given three years for each count, to serve one year in jail for the first two counts (served consecutively) and probation for the third count and remainder of the time given for the first two counts.
In simpler terms, Dozier will serve a total of two years of jail time and nine years of probation.
The charges against Dozier, a former employee of the Macon County EMS and a resident of Red Boiling Springs, stem from a complaint police received in 2005 from a family member who accused him of rape.
