A Monroe, Kentucky, man was arrested last week after being pulled over in a stolen truck.
According to Macon County Sheriff’s Department Detective Kevin Templeton, Officer Aaron Shipley made a traffic stop for a taillight violation on the westside of the county, and ran the vehicle’s VIN number.
The 2017 Ford F350 truck came back stolen from Michigan.
The driver, 48-year-old Terry Strode, was charged with violation of light law, theft of property, improper display, joyriding, financial responsibility violation and altering temporary tag.
He is scheduled to appear in general sessions court on November 4, 2020.
