Macon County Child Molestor Added to TBI's Most Wanted List

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a convicted child molester out of Macon County, TN to its Top Ten Most Wanted list in an effort to ensure he does not re-offend and to make him comply with the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.

Daniel Glenn Carr, 36, last known address 92 Andrea Lane, Westmoreland, TN is wanted by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office for three counts of Violation of Community Supervision and one count of Violation of the Sex Offender Registry Act.

Carr is a known child molester who targets male and female victims between the ages of 12 and 15. He was convicted of seven counts of Statutory Rape, two counts of Rape, two counts of Attempted Rape, two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, two counts of Sexual Battery and four counts of Attempted Sexual Battery. He has molested ten different victims. Carr was released from the Macon County Jail on March 27, 2009. He did not report to his probation officer and, therefore, is not wearing a GPS device.

Carr’s criminal history includes 38 counts of Statutory Rape, four counts of Rape, five counts of Attempted Rape, eight counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, 12 counts of Sexual Battery and four counts of Attempted Sexual Battery. It also includes Theft, Driving Under the Influence and violating his probation.

Carr is a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair. He is approximately 6’0” and weighs 165 lbs. He is considered dangerous. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Daniel Glenn Carr should contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. There is a $1000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
