Patsy Louise Bradley Wood Nixon, 61

Patsy Louise Bradley Wood Nixon, age 61, of Franklin, IN and formerly of Lafayette, Tenn., passed away May 22, 2009, at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN. Funeral services were conducted Sun., May 24, 2009 from the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Gammon officiating. Mark Wood, Andy Nixon, Ronnie Bradley, Randy Doss, Audie Cook, and Ronnie Cook served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Patsy L. Bradley Nixon was born on Feb. 6, 1948 in Macon County, Tenn., to Coramerine Patterson Bradley and Ralph B. Bradley. At an early age, she was preceded in death by her father and she was raised by her mother and dad Coramerine and Billy Doss. She was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School. She raised two sons. She worked as a PBX operator for RCA in Indianapolis, IN and later for United Telephone of Franklin, IN. However, after a battle with her health, she spent the remainder of her adult life as a housewife and devoted mother. Most importantly, as a teenage girl, Ms. Patsy was saved by God’s Grace and she became a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is lovingly survived by her mother and dad; Coramerine Patterson Bradley Doss and Billy Doss, two sons and a daughter-in-law; Mark (Stephanie) Wood, and Andy Nixon, two brothers and a sister-in-law; Ronnie (Tina) Bradley, Randy Doss, a sister and brother-in-law; Cheryl (Audie) Cook, and five grandchildren; Logan Schwerer, Kyle Nixon, Lauryn Wood, Hanna Nixon, and Landen Wood.
