Brenda Vaughn Stafford, age 56 of the Drapers Crossroads Community, in Macon County, Tenn. passed away Fri., July 10, 2009 at her residence on the Kirbytown Rd in Macon County, Tenn. Funeral Services for Brenda Vaughn Stafford were conducted Sun., July 12, 2009 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with E.C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in the Leonard Cemetery. Her family and friends served as pallbearers. Brenda was born Sept. 19, 1952 in Clay County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Knight Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Matthew Stafford; sister, Diane Matthews and brother, Billy Vaughn. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Turra Phillips & Lisa Fogle both of Drapers Crossroads Community; devoted companion, Jewel Ray York of Lafayette; sisters, Junell (Jimmy) Hooten & Linda Hooten all of Whitleyville, Tenn., Kelly Davis & Roberta Vaughn both of Red Boiling Springs; brothers, Dale (Ethel) Vaughn of Union Hill Community, Dean Vaughn of Mt. Vernon Community & Gerald Vaughn of Red Boiling Springs, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
