Funeral Services for Ethel Olean Brockette Sutton, age 92, a resident of the Palace in Red Boiling Springs, formerly of the Russell Hill Community, were conducted on Sun., Sept. 20, 2009 from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Jack Honeycutt officiating. Family and Friends served as Pallbearers. Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, Tenn. Ethel Olean Brockette Sutton, better known as Olean to her family and friends, passed away early Sat. morning, Sept. 19, 2009 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. A native of Macon County, Tenn., she was born on Mon., Oct. 30, 1916, one of three siblings born to the late Clifton and Lessie D. (Hesson) Brockette. She was married on December 25, 1935 to J. Logan Sutton, who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Duke and an infant sister and son-in-law, Edward Donoho. She was a homemaker with a priority of taking care of her husband and children. She enjoyed her five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, who all survive her. She was a member of the Willette Church of Christ. Besides all her grandchildren, she is survived by, Son and daughter-in-law, Dempsey and Betty Sutton of White Bluff, Tenn. and Ann Donoho of the Webbtown community of Macon County, Tenn.
