Funeral Services for Jeff Sturm, age 40

  of Lafayette, TN were conducted Tuesday afternoon, October 6, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Dale Strong and Chaplain Michael Scott officiating.

Interment followed in the Kendall Cemetery.  His pallbearers were the members of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
Jeff   passed away Friday afternoon, October 2, 2009 at his residence.  He was born July 30, 1969 in Mahoning County, Ohio, the son of William and Rose Marie Grear Sturm of Wooster, Ohio.  On July 3, 2009, he married Laura Cherry, who survives.  He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Charles Deweese Construction Company in Franklin, Kentucky and a member of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department in Sumner County, Tennessee.
Survivors besides his wife and parents include:  daughters, Shelby, Jennah and Madelle Sturm all of Portland, TN, step-daughter, Eliza Cunningham, Lafayette, TN, Sister, Penny Taylor and her husband, Eric, Burnsville, OH, paternal grandmother, Mary Sturm, Wooster, OH, father-in-law & mother-in-law, Joe & Neva Cherry, Moss, TN., sisters-in-law, Charlotte Halliburton, Hermitage Springs, Jolena (Nathan) Birdwell, Moss, TN, nieces, Grace Taylor and Natalie Lewis, nephews, Andrew Lewis, Joseph Birdwell, Kendal, Dalton and Riley Thompson.
