Randy Ray of the Kirbytown community in Macon County, TN passed away Wednesday evening, November 4, 2009.

 

Funeral Services for Randy Ray, age 53 of the Kirbytown community in Macon County, TN were conducted Sunday afternoon, November 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jack Honeycutt and Elder Jerry Shrum officiating.  Interment followed in the Jenkins Cemetery.  His pallbearers were Chris Jenkins, Robert Reed, Jeff Halliburton, Justin Dyer, Kyle Ray, Andy Sliger, Erik Colter and Brandon Daugherty.
Randy passed away Wednesday evening, November 4, 2009 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville from injuries sustained from a four-wheeler accident.
He was born March 13, 1956 in Smith County, TN, the son of the late Dean and Ella Gertrude Kelly Ray.  On June 6, 1988, he married Roxie Coons, who survives.  He was the Owner & Operator of Randy Ray’s Backhoe Service with 26 years of service.  He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors besides his wife, Roxie of 21 years include: daughters & sons-in-law, Katrina  & Philip Frye, Lafayette, Misty McClard, Kirbytown Community, Ashley & Brandon Kirkham,  Portland, sisters & brothers-in-law, Carolyn & Bobby Halliburton, Diane & Terry Daugherty all of Lafayette, Brothers & sister-in-law, Jerry & Barbara Ray and Terry Ray all of Willette, granddaughters, Bethany Frye, Meagan Frye, Alley Stinson, Madison Kirkham, grandson, Ezra McMahon.
