Ernest Blackwell, age 65, of Westmoreland, passed away Wed., Jan. 27 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Blackwell will be held, Sat., Jan. 30 from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Barber officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. He is survived by his son Tony & (Cynthia) Blackwell of Westmoreland; sister Elizabeth Rickert of Anderson, SC; brother Richard Blackwell of Clinton, SC; grandchildren Destiny Blackwell of Westmoreland, Cody Blackwell of Westmoreland and Jacob Blackwell of Westmoreland. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest E. and Agnes Green Blackwell; son Michael Glenn Blackwell and grandson Michael Keith Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was a retired security guard with Pinkerton Security Company.
