Funeral Services for Delbert Collins were conducted Friday afternoon, February 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Shane Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Kendall Cemetery in Moss, TN. His family and friends served as pallbearers. Delbert was born Tuesday, September 15, 1936 in Clay County, TN, the son of the late Alvie and Roxie Reecer Collins.  On October 15, 1958, he married Patricia Hestand, who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Louise Collins and brother, Lecil Collins.  He was a Farmer, Logger and attended the Hermitage Springs Church of Christ. Survivors besides his wife, Patricia of 51 years include: daughters & sons-in-law, Vicky & Tommy Newman, Leonard Community, Stephanie & Eric Caldwell, Hermitage Springs Community, Millicent Johnston, Red Boiling Springs, sons & daughters-in-law, Jeff & Peggy Collins, Moss, Phillip & Robin Collins, Hermitage Springs Community, Clay Whittaker, Moss, Dwight & Trish Rich, Clementsville Community, sisters & brother-in-law, Eva Nell Bow, Moss, Neva & Joe Cherry, Pine Hill Community, Linda Gibbs, Hopkinsville, KY, brother & sister-in-law, Leon & Mary Ann Collins, Pine Hill Community, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
