She was born in Macon County, Tennessee on July 12, 1936 to the late James H. and Elsie Ammie Pirtle Pedigo. Besides her parents; one brother, Johnny William Pedigo also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker that enjoyed crafts; quilting, needlepoint, and making necklaces kept her busy. Creola loved being with her family playing games like; Annie Over, thump-it, Domino’s, cards or putting together puzzles. She was very young at heart and enjoyed a lot of things we take for granted.  Pacesetters was home to her, she told everyone she was going to work and took it very seriously; Pacesetters helped Creola tremendously.  Her enjoyment was going out with the Pacesetters family to Wal-Mart and to get a hamburger and coke. But most of all Creola loved her church; she was saved by the Grace of God at the age of thirteen and joined New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
She is survived by; brother, Gordon Pedigo of Lafayette, TN, nieces, Jammie Hook,
Tonya “Nickie” Cliburn, and Michelle Sullivan, nephews, Marty Pedigo, Glen Pedigo,
and John Scott Pedigo, several great-nieces and great-nephews; also survive.
