
She was born in Allen County, Kentucky on January 10, 1916 to the late Daniel and Rettie Crit Blankenship Gregory.
Frances was married to the love of her life, Elvis Woodard Law on February 2, 1934, sharing sixty-two years together, and raising a son and daughter, Elvis preceded her in death on October 27, 1996. Besides her husband and parents; son, Earl Law, daughter, Glenda Jones, brother, Ommie Gregory, and a sister, Mae Keene, also preceded her in death.
She enjoyed helping Elvis on the farm and keeping house. Frances cooked at Haysville Schoolhouse for a few years, also. She liked to quilt and keep her grandchildren. Frances loved her family and the time she spent with them and the grandchildren, cooking big meals for the family made her happy. She was saved as a young girl and joined Haysville Missionary Baptist Church; where she remained a member. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
Frances is survived by; grandchildren, Jill and husband Anthony Barber of Westmoreland, TN, Michelle and husband Eddie Byrd of Lavergne, TN, Terry and husband Ken Bird of Nashville, TN, Dwayne Law of Nashville, TN, and Keith and wife Lisa Law of Mt. Juliet, TN, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; also survive.
