Mr. Darrel Driver, age 63, of Lafayette, passed away late in the evening on Friday October 15 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. Darrel was born on December 19, 1946, to Calvin Quenton and Willa Dean Roark Driver; they both preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Brenda Faye Shaw on June 14, 1967, sharing forty-three years together and raising two sons.
He was in the United States Army from 1966 thru 1968, serving during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he began working for different construction companies as a carpenter. Darrel retired in 2000, after working for the Driver Construction Company for several years.
He enjoyed doing wood crafting at home. Rabbit hunting and fishing were some of his favorite pass times.  He also loved riding around with Brenda enjoying the countryside and going to visit the Mennonites. He had a great love for his family and cherished his grandchildren. Darrel will be greatly missed by his loving family and all who knew him.
He is survived by: wife, Brenda Driver, sons, Randy (Tammy) Driver, and Jerry (Tammy) Driver, grandchildren, Dalton Driver and Brooklyn Driver, step-grandchild, Cassie Russell, and sisters, Carol Ann (Roger) Cook, and Barbara Phillips, all of Lafayette, TN.
