Monday afternoon funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Eld. James “Pee Wee” Massey at 1 p.m. from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon.
The son of the late Casey Daughtery and Brenda Dishman Daughtery, he was born in the Shop Springs Community of Wilson County on June 23, 1966.
On April 2, 2004 at the Smith County Courthouse, he was married to the former Tracey Deneise Roark of Lafayette.
Mr. Daughtery was the chief Mechanical Officer for the Nashville & Eastern Railroad, a position he had administered for ten years.
Mr. Daughtery was a 1984 graduate of Watertown High School.
An avid motorcyclist, he cherished his Honda VTX 1300 silver cycle.
He was a member of the South Carthage Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a step-daughter, Candace Presley of Westmoreland; step-granddaughter, Londyn Presley and Jadyn Presley also of Westmoreland; step-son, Joshua McCarter of Lafayette; mother and father-in-law, three sisters-in-law, two children, three brothers and a sister.
