Mr. Swann was born in California on August 18, 1921, the son of the late Henry Clay and Nora (Fleming) Swann.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was the Operation Supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a member of the Church of Christ. He also helped to organize the Celina Fire Department.
Survived by his wife, Mary Swann of Paducah; son, Dwight F. Swann of Paducah, sister, Linda Dumat and granddaughter Dana Swann.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Fitzgerald-Swann addition Cemetery in Celina.
