
Beulah Keen was born on Sunday, January 15, 1922, in Macon County, one of six siblings, to the late David Crockett and Carrie Frances (Gammons) Allen. She was married to James Loyd Keen, who preceded her in death on November 21, 1971. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Keen, daughter, Frances Jones, grandchild, Darlene McClellan, brother, Raymond Allen, and sister, Lera Shockley.
She was a homemaker, who devoted her life to her family; she loved to quilt, work in her flowers, and go to the Senior Citizens Center when she was able. She was a member of Ruff Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by; sons and daughters-in-law, James Keen, Benny (Connie) Keene all of Lafayette, Tenn., Gerald (Terri) Keen of Westmoreland, Tenn., daughters and son-in-law, Mildred Hill of White House, Tenn., Shirley Walker of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Helen (Kent) Gimmy of Gallatin, Tenn., nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Richard Allen, sisters, Lorene Perdue, and Lydia Shockley.
