
Tommy Burns, Michael Rowe, Danny Buck, Chad Bond, Ray Goad, and Jimmy Goad served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Nelson McDonald Cemetery.
Alta May Perry Taylor was born on Saturday, December 29, 1923 in Macon County, Tenn. She was the daughter of Roy Marshall Perry and Annie Jane Shoemake, who preceded her in death.
Alta was a member of Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very devoted and proud mother, she loved being with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 husbands; Logan Burns on November 25, 1964, Cordell Goad on June 10, 1987, and Woodrow Taylor on November 6, 2000, a daughter, Dorothy Ann Wright, and a granddaughter, Tammy Raciene.
She is survived by; daughter Debbie Bond of Hermitage, Tenn., son, David Burns of Old Hickory, Tenn., 7 grandchildren: Tresha Ferguson of Nashville, Tenn., Michael Rowe, of Nashville, Tenn., Kimberly Brockette, of Pensacola, Fla., Chad Bond, of Hermitage, Tenn., Thomas Burns – Active U.S. Airforce, Pamela Burns, Old Hickory, Tenn., Cherra Burns, Old Hickory, Tenn.
