Edward “Bud” Peek, age 72, of Morgan Rd, Lafayette, passed away Fri., Jan. 16, 2009, at the Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services for Edward “Bud” Peek were conducted Tues., Jan. 20, 2009 from the Chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tenn. with Wayne Meador officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Bud was born Nov. 17, 1936 in Madison, AL, the son of the late Everett and Lillie (Brewer) Peek. On Jan. 24, 1959, he married Eloise Carrell, who survives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Buford, Bob and Bill Peek and his sister, Kay Grover. He was a US Army Veteran, retired from Allied Signal in MI after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Drapers Cross Roads Church of Christ. Other than his wife he is survived by, Daughters & sons-in-law, Vicki (Jack) Ferrell of Niles, MI, and Patty (Daren) Naragen of New Troy, MI; son, Paul Peek and his fiancé, Valerie Bailey; sisters, Linda Skaggs of Niles, MI, Marie Miller of Manilla, AR, Chris Robbins of Paw Paw, MI; brothers, Larry, Carl, Everett, and Donnie Peek all of MI; grandchildren, Melissa Shrouder, David Ferrell, Tara Naragon, Brandon Naragon, and Lucas Peek.
