
Sharing sixty-three years together and raising four children, Nelma survives. Berlin served in the United States Air Force, during World War II, he was a farmer most of his life, and worked as a crop insurance adjuster. Berlin was County Commissioner for twenty years. He served a Director for Farm Bureau for thirty years, served as President for several years of the thirty years, and served as Honorary Director since 1997. Berlin enjoyed traveling and being with his family. He was a member of the White Oak Church of Christ. Besides his wife, he is survived by; sons, David and Jennifer Doss, Todd and Kim Doss all of Lafayette, Tenn., daughters, Linda and George Miller of Nashville, Tenn., June and Shon Perdue of Lafayette, Tenn., grandchildren, Teresa and Todd Hibbs, Eric and Christy Hoskins, Emily Doss, Clint and Heather Doss, Brandon Doss, Ashlan Doss, step-grandchildren, Mike and Lyne Miller, Leanne and Fred Johnson, five great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
