Macon County will enter the playoffs as the #6 seed in the 3rd quadrant and will travel to Jackson to face #3 seed Liberty Tech Magnet. Liberty finished the regular season 7-3 and runner-up in district 14AA. Coach Pemberton said after the game “The playoffs is a whole new season. Everybody starts with a record of 0-0. Anything can happen. Just getting to playoffs is not enough; we need to make some noise!” Looking at the map, the trip to Jackson is just over a 3 hour drive. Please be careful and be loud and “I’ll see you at the game.”
