The Macon County High School golf teams competed in their district tournament this past week.
By Wally Etheridge The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs have enjoyed great success over the past decade but last Friday night the Bobcats were much the better team as they manhandle the Bulldogs in every phase of the game in a lopsided score of 48-19.
The Macon County Junior High Tigers defeated the Smith County Junior High Owls on Sep 11th at homecoming.
The MCHS girls soccer team hosted White House Lady Blue Devils. White House is the defending state champions.
Last Friday night was not a good game for the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs as Gordonsville came to the Dog Pound and put a 44-14 whipping on the Bulldogs.

The Macon County High School golf team was in action this past week. They competed in one tournament on Aug 20th and had another match on Aug 21st.
On Tuesday Aug 21st the Jim B Satterfield Jackets held on to beat the Macon County Junior High Tigers. The game was decided late in the 4th quarter.
The Westmoreland Eagles came to Pat Parker Field and had no problems taking a win over the Macon County Tigers. The final score was 33-7.
