The Macon County Jr. High girls volleyball team played Portland on Tuesday afternoon, September 13th, at home. They captured the first match with Portland East, with scores of 25-20 and 25-20, but the Junior High fell short during the second match with Portland West scoring 25-12 and 25-15.

On Thursday September 8th the Macon County Junior High faced Gordonsville in a game which was postponed from earlier in the week. The Junior Tigers defeated Gordonsville by a score of 42-8 in the contest.
