The Macon County 4-H Livestock Expo was held Thursday evening June 21st at the Macon County Fairgrounds.

With the days getting longer and summertime activities in full swing, the Lafayette United Methodist Church hosted their annual Vacation Bible School last week, where kids ages three through twelve, enjoyed a faith journey with the word of Jesus, in a pleasant and spiritual atmosphere. Unfortunately several of the older cemeteries in Macon County have been forgotten and the final resting place of many of our ancestors, are no longer even recognizable.
