Quentin Jenkins, 82

Mr. Jenkins passed away Saturday evening, March 15, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.

Quentin JenkinsFuneral services for Quentin Jenkins, age 82 of the Haysville Community Lafayette, Tenn. were conducted Tuesday afternoon, March 18, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tenn. with Elder Michael Brawner officiating. Terry Jenkins, Gary Jenkins, Cody Jenkins, Ray Kenneth Smalling, Kerry Smalling, Larry Law, Larry Wayne Law and Thomas Smalling served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Mr. Jenkins passed away Saturday evening, March 15, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.

He was born May 1, 1925 in Macon County, Tenn. the son of the late Oral Christian and Loretta Bray Jenkins.  On June 2, 1945, he married the former Annadean Smalling who survives. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Jenkins. He was a farmer and a member of the Union Camp Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides his wife of 62 years he is survived by: son and daughter-in-law; Conald and Judy Jenkins; grandson, Tony (Beth) Jenkins; great-grandson, Tyler Jenkins; brothers, Ransom (Peggy) Jenkins, Kenneth Jenkins all of Lafayette, Tenn. and Ray Jenkins of Indianapolis, Ind.
