Bradley C. Kirby, age 74, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2008, at the Macon County General Hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Bradley C. Kirby was born on March 20, 1934, in Jackson County, Tenn., one of twelve siblings to the late Marshall and Melvina Jane (Russell) Kirby. Besides his parents, infant daughter, Tonia Kirby, son, Alan Kirby, brothers, Dee Kirby, Bee Kirby, Zollie Kirby, Seal Vester Kirby, Clay Kirby, sisters, Velma Stubblefield, Betty Lou Sneed, Fannie Jane Kirby, Moline Ellis preceded him in death.
Bradley Kirby was a veteran serving in the Army as a Sergeant; He was a retired employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority were he had worked as a Diesel Mechanic. He attended the Lafayette Church of Christ.
He is survived by; wife, Geneva Burchett Kirby, daughters, Angela (Alan) Wright, Teresa Saddler all of Lafayette, Tenn., sisters, Robbie Jean Ellis and Juwiona Dean Young of Ind., grandchildren, Derek, Quentin, Tiffany Saddler, Kasey and Kersha Kirby, Colby, Jessica, and Dustin Wright, great-grandchildren, Tevin Saddler, and Landon Wade and several nieces and nephews.
