Carol Gail Hudson, age 58, of the Maple Grove Community in Macon County, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008, at her residence.

Carol Gail HudsonFuneral services for Carol Gail Hudson were conducted on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Rogers officiating. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Carol Gail Hudson was born on January 28, 1950 in Detroit, Mich., one of four siblings to the late Burton Clay and Dorothy Elese “Ma” Thomas Haney.  

Besides her parents, one son, John Landra Hudson preceded her in death.

Gail had been an employee for Measure Up-IAG.  In her teenage years, she enjoyed working in the concession stand and hanging-out at the Lafayette Drive-in that “Burt” and “Ma” owned, riding horses and loved having her cats around.  She was a member of the White Oak Church of Christ.  She is survived by: one brother, Freddie (Cathy) Haney, two sisters, Jona (Donny) Turner, and Glenda “Tiny” (Max) Mayhew all of Lafayette, Tenn., several nieces and nephews.
