Frances Sue Sircy Boze, 84

Frances Sue Sircy Boze, age 84, of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Brandywood Rehabilitation Center in Gallatin, Tenn. 

Funeral services for Frances Sue Boze will be conducted on Friday, April 2, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin with Elder Jerry Boze officiating. Tommy Boze, Don Boze, Bill Edwards, Jimmy Joe Boze, Brad Shoulders, and Steve Brown served as pallbearers.  Entombment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Frances Sue Sircy Boze was born on December 2, 1923 in Jackson County, Tenn., one of two siblings of the late Willie Chester and Bessie Wilkerson Sircy. She was married to James Gordon Boze on May 29, 1943, who survives.  Besides her parents, her brother, Draper “Spoodle” Sircy, son-in-law, Charles Martin, brothers-in-law, Dewitt and Prentice Boze, and sister-in-law, June Shoulders preceded her in death.  Frances had been an employee of the Eaton Corporation for over 25 years before retirement and was a member of the West End Missionary Baptist Church in Gallatin.  

Besides her husband of 54 years, she is survived by; daughters, Peggy Martin, Melinda (Rocky) Jones, all of Gallatin, grandchildren, Meredith Martin (David) Mullins, Chicamauga, Ga., Amy Martin (Jeff) Balturshot, Nashville, Tenn., Grant Jones, Knoxville, Tenn., twin great-grandchildren, Olivia and Daniel Mullins, sisters-in-law, Lucy (Bradley) Woodard, Difficult Community in Smith County, Robbie (Joe) Oldham, Carthage, Tenn., Hilda (Billy) Gray, Shelbyville, Tenn., Marie (Winburn) Woodard, Gallatin, Tenn., Kathleen Boze, Gallatin, Tenn., Mildred Stanley, Nashville, Tenn., brothers-in-law, Joe (Mary Ruth) Boze, Carthage, Tenn., Hugh (Lynn) Shoulders, Gallatin, Tenn. The family request memorials in the form donations be made to the West End Missionary Baptist Church.
