Virginia Ann Quarles McCord, 63

Mrs. Virginia Ann Quarles McCord, 63, and employee of the University of Mississippi Bookstore where she worked in the art department, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford, Miss.

The funeral service was held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Waller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery.

Mrs. McCord was born in Serepta, Miss. and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Isaac McClellan and Freddie Lamar McCord.

Suvivors include her husband, Wayne Crowe of Oxford, Miss.; one daughter, Shelia Ann Ferris and her husband Herbert of Lafayette, Tenn.; three sisters, Mary Helen Chandler of Water Valley, Miss., Laura Faye Tidwell of Oxford, Miss. and Paulette Serra of Water Valley, Miss.; two grandchildren, Stacia Ann Crocker of Water Valley, Miss. and Danielle Marie Ferris of Lafayette, Tenn. and her mother-in-law, Lucille McCord of Oxford.
