Wilma Sue Huffines, 78

Mrs. Wilma Sue Huffines, 78, of Celina passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Cumberland River Hospital, here in Celina, Tenn.

Mrs. Huffins was born in Rushville, Ind. on January 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles and India I (Black) Bowen.

She operated a Beauty Salon for 15 years in Anderson, Ind.

Mrs. Huffines and her husband Fred Huffines operated and owned Huffines TV and Appliances in Celina, Tenn.

She also graduated from Draughons Jr. College with a 4.0 GPA in Data Processing

She worked and retired from Vanderbilt in Data Processing, a member of the Celina United Medothist Church, a member of Eastern Star, and a past Worthy Grand Matron.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Pryor of Celina, Tenn.

She is also survived by grandchildren: Jennifer Garland of Lebanon, Tenn. and special friend, J. J. Jones, Emily Allen of Celina, Tenn., Richard "Richie" and wife Christie Pryor II of Rickman, Tenn.; great grandchildren: Joshua and Jacob Garland of Celina, Tenn., Jordan Stout of Lebanon, Tenn., and Kaylee and Elijah Pryor of Rickman, Tenn.

Many nephews and nieces, a beloved dog Nipper and many friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and India (Black) Bowen; husband, Fred Huffines and brother, Eugene Bowen

Funeral services were conducted at Hall Funeral Home, LLC, Celina, Tenn., at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, with Keith Long officiating.  

Pallbearers were Richard Pryor, II, Joshua Garland, Jacob Garland, Bobby Smith, Shane Smith, and Larry Lacy. Interment followed at Campground Cemetery in Hilham, Tenn.
