Louise Kirby Collier, 86
Mrs. Louise Kirby Collier of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. passed away Saturday, June 7, 20008 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn. at the age of 86.
Mrs. Collier was married to the late Garland Collier who passed away January 16, 2000. They were married on January 4, 1941.
Mrs. Collier was a member of the Big Branch Church of Christ.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Z. and Amelia Pierce Kirby; son Lawerence G. Collier, grandson Allan Jones; 4 brothers, Benton, Dorcey, Louis and Garland Kirby; sister, Zelda Mae Mize and son-in-law, Dwayne Collins.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Wallace D. and Dot Collier of Hermitage Springs, Tenn., Claude R. and Pat Collier of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Benny Copley of Portland, Tenn., Judy and Ronnie Jones of Hermitage, Tenn., Peggy and Jeff Collins of Moss, Tenn. and Patty Collins of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Erlean Kirby of Dotham, Ala. and Gerald and Edna Kirby of White House, Tenn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gene and Bob Patterson of Nashville, Tenn., and Charlene and Joe Romans of Fayetteville, W.V.; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Edward L. Anderson officiating. Interment followed in the Collier Family Cemetery.
