Morean Davis Hill, 87

Mrs. Morean Davis Hill passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the age of 87 at her residence in the Sadler’s Chapel Community of Macon County, Tenn.  Funeral services for Mrs. Morean were conducted on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Rob Whitaker and Brother Tim White officiating.

Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Russell Driver, Mark Moss, Don Irvin Davis, Travis Davis, Woodrow Baugh, Jesse Lee Davis, Wayne Davis and Dylan Davis served as Pallbearers.

She was born on September 23, 1920 in Macon County, Tenn., one of seven siblings of the late Walter Wilder and Audrey Parsley Wilder Beasley. She was married to Irvin Leon Davis on September 10, 1940, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1969. After Mr. Leon passed away, she was married to Denver Hill, who survives. She was a Homemaker and mother of twelve children. In addition to her first husband and parents, her daughter, Patricia Angela Ball, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, daughter-in-law, Donella (Johnson) Davis and two brothers, Dayton and Clayton Wilder, preceded her in death.  She was of the Church of Christ belief. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred (R. E.) Driver, Lafayette, Tenn., Rosa Lee (Donald) Moss, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., Deborah Davis, Westmoreland, Tenn., Cathy Mclerran, Castalian Springs, Tenn., sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin (Betty) Davis, Hendersonville, Tenn., “J. T.” Davis, Moss, Tenn., William and David Davis, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., Ernest (Diane) Davis, Greensburg, Ky., Bobby (Su) Davis, Alaska, Don Allen (Sondra) Davis, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., sisters, Aileen Hix, Smyrna, Tenn., Delno Clark, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
