Pauline Butler, 93
Mrs. Pauline Butler passed away Friday morning, June 27, 2008 at the age of 93 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Butler were conducted on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Guthrie Thompson officiating. Interment followed in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Jeffrey Goodman, Will Butler, Robbie Huffines, Eric Hall, Daniel Carr, and Kent Smith served as Pallbearers.
She was born on December 20, 1914 in Macon County, Tenn., one of five siblings of the late William Elmer and Maude Ethel Creasy Jenkins. She was married to Golston Butler on December 23, 1935, who preceded her in death on December 22, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, her son, Wayne Butler, a brother, Ray Jenkins, a sister, Hazel Gross, preceded her in death. She had worked for 37 year at Formfit Rogers in Lafayette as a Designer of undergarments and at Genesco in McMinnville. Mrs. Pauline was the oldest member of the Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by, grandson, Kenny Butler, Lafayette, Tenn., great-grandchildren, Will Douglas Butler, Lindsay Marie Butler, great-great-grandchild, Caroline Marie Butler, all of Nashville, Tenn., sister, Mary Catherine Goodman, Lafayette, Tenn., and Ollie Louise Caltino, Redding, Pa.
