Fannie Mae Williams Kipp, 87

Fannie Mae Williams Wilson Kipp, age 87 of Red Boiling Springs and formerly of Sylva, N. C. passed away Sunday morning, August 10, 2008 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn.

Funeral services for Fannie Mae Williams Wilson Kipp will be conducted Thursday, August 14 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Melton-Riddle Funeral Home in Sylva, N.C. with Fred Williams, Jr. and Jimmy Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens in Sylva, N.C.  Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

She was born October 27, 1920 in Macon County, N. C. the daughter of the late Hugh Alexander and Dorothy Adams Williams.  She was married to Leo Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1968 and she later married Thomas H. Kipp who also preceded her in death in 1995.  In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by: son, Charles Robert Wilson, grandsons, Phillip Wilson and Randy Marshall, sister, Mary Williams Sorrells, brothers, Fred Alexander Williams and R.L. Williams.  She was a homemaker and a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was also a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Pumpkintown, N.C.

Survivors include: daughters, Leona (Richard) Wilson Weaver, Shelby, N.C., Mary Lee Wilson Kipp, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., Brenda Wilson Enloe, Whittier, N.C., Shirley (Roy) Wilson McCormick, Murphy, N.C., son, Bobby Ray Wilson, Keewee, S.C., step-son, David G. Kipp, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
