Lendall Bean, 77
Lendall Bean, age 77 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, Tenn. passed away Saturday morning, August 16, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.
Funeral services for Lendall Bean were conducted Monday afternoon, August 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with E.C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in the Union Hill Cemetery. His family served as pallbearers.
He was born June 23, 1931 in Clay County, Tenn., the son of the late James R. and Ethel L. Pedigo Bean. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bronson, Lowell, Hollis and Layne Bean. On December 18, 1956, he married the former Maxie Wilmoth, who survives. He was a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ, Korean War Veteran and a retired employee with the American Can Company in Indianapolis, Ind. with 24 years of service.
Survivors besides his wife, Maxie of 51 years include: son, Jerry Bean, Indianapolis, Ind., granddaughter, Erica Bean, Hermitage Springs Community, sisters, Juanita Bozarth, McMinnville, Tenn., Myrna Johnson, Antioch, Tenn.
