Geneva May Pedigo, 90

Mrs. Geneva May Pedigo of Gallatin and formally of Westmoreland passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the age of 90.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 24 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Rev. Lorin Pedigo and Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.

Mrs. Pedigo was the daughter of the late Andrew Buford Lauderdale and Fannie May Williams Lauderdale. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Pedigo (Boots), brothers and sisters, Willie Lauderdale, Clyde Lauderdale, Agnes Lauderdale, James Lauderdale, Ruby Templeton; grandchild Harold Pedigo, Jr. and great-grandson, Grayson Kemper.

She is survived by daughter, Martha Pedigo of Hendersonville; sons, Harold Pedigo of Franklin, Ky., Larry Pedigo of Gallatin, Gaylon Pedigo of Lafayette; brother, Guthrie Lauderdale of Gallatin; sister, Christine Shoulders of Portland; 15 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.

Michael Duffer, Wayne Kemper, Keith Pedigo, Eric Pedigo, Chris Pedigo and Terry Templeton served as Pallbearers.

Mrs. Pedigo was a member of Leath’s Chapel Methodist Church and worked for a number of years at Lawnlite.
