Robert Spears, 71

Robert Spears, age 71 of Lafayette, Tenn. passed away Friday afternoon, August 22, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.

Funeral services for Robert Spears were conducted Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2008 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Elder Brent Hall officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronald Cook, Roger Cook, Rick Cook, Fay Etheridge, Larry Halliburton and Dennis Kirby.

He was born October 5, 1936 in Macon County, Tenn., the son of the late Raymond and Ercie Mary Cassetty Spears. He was a retired Receiving Clerk for Redkap Industries in Nashville, Tenn. with 35 years of service.  

Survivors include: sister, Myrtlene Spears, Lafayette, Tenn., cousins, Ronald (Jan) Cook, Goodlettsville, Tenn., Roger Cook, McMinnville, Tenn. and Robbie Huddleston, Manchester, Tenn.
